He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Shep" Shetler and Lula; his brother David; and his close friends, Clifford Z. "Duck" Kacyon and Charles "Charlie" Mayfield.
He is survived by: his spouse Gweneth Cryder of Berwick; his siblings, Marilee Shetler Socia and Darl "Skip" Shetler (Sandra); his children, Gretchen Shetler Kelly (Tim) of State College, PA, Brice Shetler (Laura), Christian Shetler (Kimberly) and Heidi Shetler Bennett of Bloomsburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Haili Coombe (Dan) of Millville, PA, Amy Shetler (Jared Byrnes) of Bloomsburg, PA, Corey Shetler of Round Rock, TX, Samantha Shetler of Fort Worth, TX, Ann Shetler of Lightstreet, PA and Adam Bennett of Bloomsburg, PA; and his great grandchild Charlotte Coombe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He specifically asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Geisinger Home Health and Hospice, 410 Glen Ave, Suite 200, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
