He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hause and Evelyn Hause (Varner); his sister Vivienne Kanouse; and his in-laws, George and Hazel May.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne May; his son James Hause (Stephanie) of Millville; his grandchildren, Destiny Hause, Jason Hause (Dulcie), Kyla Lawson (Steve) and Nicole Hause; his stepgrandsons, Josh Bacon (Brandi) and Matt Bacon (Kristine); his great grandchildren, Jude, Lucy Hause and Olivia Lawson; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hunter, Brick, Brody, Brynleigh and Jade Bacon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mayo Funeral Home (110 Chestnut St, Berwick, PA 18603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests donations be made in Richard's memory to the Bethany Church of Berwick Capital Campaign.
