He is survived by: his wife Frances Travelpiece; his daughters, Rebecca (Leonard Hess) of Bloomsburg, Deborah Hess of Berwick, Dr. Brenda (John Robertson) of Schuylkill Haven and Judith (David Yost) of Berwick; his siblings, Walter Hess of Wapwallopen, John Hess (Gwen) of Lancaster, Betty (William Dodd) of Berwick, Audrey Eyster of Nescopeck and Dorothy (Ronald Beach) of Nescopeck; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Hess of Wapwallopen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
