Shaffer Jr. of Berwick, Pennsylvania, born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Shaffer, Sr. and Ethel Rose Shaffer (Piddington); his wife Geraldine Arner; his daughter Vicki Shaffer; and his siblings, Richard Shaffer, Jackie Creasy and Nadine Sterner.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Shaffer (Linda) of Berwick, Gordon Shaffer (Carol) of Williamsburg, PA, Ronna Boyles of Berwick and Cindee Thompson (Harry) of Hollidaysburg, PA; and his sister Catherine Corse of Binghamton, NY.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren.
