She was predeceased by: her mother Leona Dyer; and her siblings, Paul Fahringer, Thomas Fahringer, Patricia Alexander and Nancy Morris.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Houseknecht; her daughters, Chris (Dan Yacina), Audrey Freeman, Wendy (Robert Young) and Kim (Jeff DeFebo) of Bridgeton, NJ; and her grandchildren, Heather Critti Hardeman, Frank Bafunno, Mathew Young, Devin Young Faulkner, Erin Young Brown, Angela DeFebo, Jason DeFebo, Anthony Yacina and Andrew Yacina.

Donations can be made in her memory to Janet Weis Children's Hospital, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822.
