He was predeceased by: his father John H. Baumgartner, III. He is survived by: his mother Vanita "Vicki" Baumgartner of Berwick; his brother Donald Baumgartner; his daughter Brenda Baumgartner; and his grandchildren, Nikita Lynn Baumgartner, Mark Baumgartner and Jazlynn Eisenhauer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made toward John's grandchildren's education.
