It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Schwenger of Berwick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ayres and Sarah Ayres (Watson); her husband William Charles Schwenger, Jr.; and her siblings, Margaret Pierson, Emma Mitchell, Elizabeth Matlack, Robert Ayres, William Ayres and Dorothy Gabert.

She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Schwenger (Jane) of Mechanicsville, VA and Katherine "Kathy" Nihoff of Berwick; her grandchildren, Tessa Mendonca (Al) and Brian Schwenger (Amy Schott); and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Ethan Mendonca, William "Will" and Elsa Schwenger.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mayo Funeral Home (110 Chestnut St, Berwick, PA 18603). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jane's memory to a charity of choice.
