He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Mullen and Dorothy Boritz (Hummer); and his brother Louie Mullen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley J. Mullen (Shoemaker); his children, Ethel Carpinella (Michael), Alberta Mullen-Skirkanich and Sami Gunnoud (David); his sister Mary Jane St. John (Terry); and his brother-in-law Wayne Shoemaker. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
