It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lehnowsky of Berwick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Lehnowsky to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Uram Jr. and Mary Perko Uram; her husband Frank Lehnowsky; and her sister Mary Anne Uram. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Lehnowsky (Judy) and Craig Lehnowsky (Cherrie Long); her sister Bonita Anderson (Gerald Anderson); her grandchildren, Jacob Lehnowsky, Lauren Lehnowsky and Mark Lehnowsky; her stepgrandchildren, Jenna Long and Erin Long Marr; her great grandchildren, Max, Nora and Beau Lehnowsky; her stepgrandchildren, Logan, Connor, Sawyer Marr and Sydney Hott; her nieces and nephews, Rick Anderson (Melissa), Trevor Anderson (Valerie), Todd Anderson (Jennifer), Brian Anderson, Doug Lehnowsky (Diane), Roger Lehnowsky (Maureen), Barry Lopashanski (Carol), Kristen, Marissa Anderson and Judy Lehnowsky; and her uncle Peter Perko (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and Godchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1024 N Market St, Berwick, PA 18603). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saints Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church (706 Warren St, Berwick, PA 18603). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the same location.
