He was predeceased by: his parents, William Champion and Lois Champion (Hartzell); and his sisters, Margaret Champion and Cheryl Deisnroth. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Champion (Harris); his children, Ronda Espinosa (Edgar), Brian Shafer (Sarah), Amber Champion and Chyann Champion (Nick); the mother of his children Joyce Champion (Harris); his child Berwick; his close friend Kimberly Young; and his siblings, Jean Ragan (Jim), Lois Dott (Buddy), Debbie Plesch (Joseph), Tina Jacobson (Carl), Glenmore, Allessandra Shaw (Jim), David Champion (Linda) and Bruce Champion (Chrissy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
