She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Neiswender and Mayme Neiswender (Smith); her daughter Carol Sterner; her siblings, Mable Reber, Ralph Neiswender, Norman Neiswender, Arlin Neiswender, Bertha Thompson, Dorothy Lindenmuth, Margaret Zukosky and Martha Hacsko; and her brother-in-law James Sterner, Sr..

She is survived by: her sons, James Sterner, Jr. (Helen) of Edwardsville and Mark Sterner (Glenda) of Berwick; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Michelle, Brad, Jennifer and Hunter. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made in her memory to the Animal Resource Center, Bloomsburg.
