She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Howzdick and Anna Howzdick (Demczak); her husband Joseph A. Pitarra; her daughter Sharon Getty; her sisters, Mary Varney, Bertha Vinciguerra and Anna Vinciguerra; and her half-sister Helen Datuff.
She is survived by: her daughter JoAnn (John Widger) of Mifflinville; her grandchildren, Lisa (Rick Roehm), John Getty (Julia), Matthew Getty (Jocelyn), Elizabeth Widger and Stephanie Widger (Noah Adams); her great grandchildren, Andrew Roehm (Stephanie), Clara Getty, Emily Getty and Caden Getty; and her son-in-law John R. Getty.
