It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith M. Lear of Berwick, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamott S. Cornell and Arlean M. Cornell (Myers); and her siblings, James, Jack Cornell and Dolores Casterline.
She is survived by: her husband Harry K. Lear; and her children, Susan Confer, Mark Lear (Karen) and Walter Lear (Aileen). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
