He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Butz and Madeline Butz (Peterson); and his sister Linda Saracino. He is survived by: his wife Carole D. Butz (Bower); his children, Donald Butz of Berwick, Rick Butz of Berwick, Lesa Orlando (Jeffrey), Sherri Sitler (Marty), Candee Orlando (James) and Sandee Marr (Joseph) of Dallas, PA; and his sister Judy Sponenberg (Richard). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
