He was predeceased by: his parents, George Roy and Laura Dennis (Petty); his wife Martha Deater; his son Roy Dennis; and his siblings, Endora Acornley, Lois Smith, Gladys Winders, Franklin Dennis and Bertis Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Dennis (Melissa) of Wapwallopen, Scott Dennis (Lori) of Berwick and Laura (Carl Rinehimer) of Berwick; his daughter-in-law Anne Dennis of Nescopeck; his grandchildren, Jeremy Broyan, Laura Ruhmel, Roy Dennis and Scott Dennis; his great grandchildren, Morgan Broyan, Alex Ruhmel, Grayson Dennis, Angelia Broyan, Antonia Broyan, Adrianna Broyan and A. J. Broyan; and his sisters-in-law, Ethel Dennis of Berwick and Bonnie Dennis of Berwick.
