Dee was preceded in death by her husband Frank Donald Beane of Cranford, NJ on 17 Jan 2003. Her adopted children included Don Beane, Karen Stratz (Ewald/Beane), and Kenneth (Ken) Ewald.

Dee was very active in her church and loved the Lord with great zeal, a beloved Christian.
