He was predeceased by: his parents, Hensyl Arthur and Nellie Dietterick (Bachert); his wife Ingeburg A. Hares; his son David Dietterick; and his granddaughter Shannon Daubert.
He is survived by: his children, Hensyl Dietterick of Berwick, Oswin Dietterick of Fort Myers, FL and Linda Shaffer (Terry) of Berwick; his grandchildren, Amanda Bardo (Brad), Dan Moser, Jr. (Tina), Ashley Titman, Leslie Herring (Jacki), Charity Kuchyt (Mike), Andy Stout (Brandon), Ariell Stout and Maddie Stout; his great grandchildren, Logan, Morgan, Karlea, Kaius, Savannah, Summer, Robbie, James, Justin, Cortnee, Deanna, Elizabeth and Michael; his brother Don Dietterick (JoAnne) of Bradenton, FL; and his nieces, Diane and Deborah. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
