He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Rhodes and Hazel S. Rhodes (Ernest); his wife Nina E. Snyder; and his brothers, Earl Rhodes, Lawrence Rhodes and Doyle "Sam" Rhodes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kay (Thomas Nazarchyk) of Catawissa and Jane Miller of Catawissa; his grandchildren, Vicki Yackiel, Cody Miller, Megan Costik and Paul Nazarchyk; his great grandchildren, April Miller, Ryan Costik, Jake Costik, Collin Costik, Rowan Nazarchyk and Cyrus Nazarchyk; and his siblings, Paul Rhodes (Rosemary) of Berwick, Thelma (Morton Fegley) of Carlisle and Gloria Holderman of Bloomsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
