Alan Roger Bankes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2023, at the age of 72, Alan Roger Bankes of Berwick, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Bankes and Elizabeth Bankes (Rule); his wife Luanne Miller; his brother Jack Bankes; and his father-in-law Lewis Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Kowalski (Joe) of Berwick and Bethann Pinterich (Rich) of Berwick; his brother Brian Bankes (Brenda) of Hunlock Creek; his mother-in-law Eloise Miller of Berwick; and his grandchildren, Brendon Cope, Taylor Austin II, Reed Pinterich, Mallory Pinterich and Derek Pinterich. He is also survived by niece and several nephews and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Alan's name be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
