He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Hartranft and Annie M. Hartranft (Sweigart). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn (Knauer). He is also survived by 10 children, 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leroy's memory may be made to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
