He was predeceased by: his wife Alice V. (Kitchens); his parents, Jerry Herber and Lizzie Herber (Ely); and his siblings, Donald Herber, Linwood Herber and Marie Steffy.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl J. Heffner (late Bobby Heffner) of Sinking Spring; his sister-in-law Bea Herber; and his stepgranddaughters, Kay Kramer and Susan Yeager. He is also survived by two step great grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
