He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Welty. He is survived by: his wife Joan A. Welty (Marsh); and his children, Cheryl Leonard (Terry, Sr.), Stephanie Billings (Dennis), Edward Welty, Jr. and Steven Welty (Sabrina). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
