She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Alix and Dorothy Alix (Hockenberg); and her sister Florence Bernstein. She is survived by: her husband Richard H. Hoffman Sr.; her children, Richard H Hoffman Jr. (Tammy) of Bernville and Donna L. Zimmerman (Drew) of Myerstown; her grandchildren, Richard, Michael Hoffman, Brandy Hartman, Megan Weleski, Jennifer Best, Kyle, Cody Zimmerman and Kelly Perkins; and her siblings, Phillip Alix (Jean) of Newport Richie, FL, Jack Alix of Newport Richie, Sharon Koenig of Mohnton and Adalia Kyrish (Jim) of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dorothy's name may be made to Mary's Shelter, 615 Kenhorst Blvd., Reading, PA 19611.
