He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merrill II and Jeanne Merrill Coleman (Stevens); and his sister Cynthia Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Combecker; his children, Martie Sprowls (Tim), Cece Merrill (April), Tina Phillips (Andy), Heather McCauley (Bill Washabaugh), Kris Brick (Delmas), Gerren Wagner (Daymond) and Billy Merrill (Lorinda); his grandchildren, Brogan McCauley, Joel Sprowls (Sydney), Grace Vargas (Geancarlo), Jordan, Riley, Olivia Brick, Arlo, Owen Wagner, Cody Phillips and Cora Merrill; his great grandchild Shea Sprowls; his brother Mike Merrill; and his cousin Lee Stevens (Kathy).
