He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cunningham and Myrtle Cunningham (Wilson); and his son Eric Richard Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Long; his daughter Kathy S. Leer; his former wife Christine Yakicic; and his siblings, William C. Cunningham (Ellen) of Sarasota, FL, Alvin D. Cunningham (Barbara) of Cresaptown, MD, Carolyn F. McKinney, John (Eloise Long) and Berlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
