He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray E. Engle and Bertha Engle (Handwerk); his wife Margaret Wyand; and his siblings, Marian Gindlesperger, Nada Schrock and Robert Engle.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Woods (Stanton); and his sister Helen Diest of Berlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
