He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip J. Jr. Alder and Audrey Alder (Hoffman); his sister Cyri Mattern; and his brother-in-law Harry Mattern. He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Chalk (Gary "Bub") and Audrey Walker (David); his niece Erin Maxymillian (Andy); and his nephews, Eric Mattern (Carolyn), William Walker (Mollie), Joseph Walker (April) and Andrew Walker (Darcy). He is also survived by 7 grand nieces and nephews.
