She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Holsopple and Cora Holsopple (Snyder); her husband Earl Stewart Barndt; her stepmother Vera Holsopple; her foster parents, Effie Ling and Chuck Ling; her siblings, Alice Mitrin, Allegra May, Peg Tapper, Bette Croyle, Beverly Helsel and Bernard "Bud" Holsopple; and her foster siblings, LuElla Weimer, Jean Mason, Fern Mostoller and Glenn Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hoffman (Roger) of Somerset and John Barndt (Sally) of Somerset; and her grandchildren, Eric, Amanda, Heath, Keely, Corey and Nathan. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services (494 W Main St, Somerset, PA 15501).
