She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon P. Sr. Ackerman and Ora Mae Ackerman (Schram); her husband Wilbur "Porky" Deem Sr.; her children, Joseph A. Deem and Bonnie J. Weimer; her son-in-law Thomas R. Leasure, Sr.; and her siblings, Ila Mae Keith, Linda Bowman, Simon Jr., Charlie and Don Ackerman.

She is survived by: her children, Ella Hutchinson Holly (Les), Bill Hutchinson, Paul "Tim" Hutchinson (Rindy) and Jodi Janidlo (Darin); her grandchildren, Anthony (Miranda), Thomas (Megan), Zachary Leasure, James McMillan (Barbie), Ashley Ferguson, Sara, Brady, Carson and Ryan Janidlo; her great grandchildren, Curtis, Wyatt Leasure, Delia, Paige Leasure, Alexa Nicole, Aeralyn, Addison McMillan, Jaxson, Adalynn Fochtman and Aiden Ferguson; her great great grandchild Vivyanah; and her siblings, Ellen Nightingale, Peggy Reynolds and Ron Ackerman (Patty). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
