He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Mae Leister (Boyer); his son Eric M. Leister; his sister Cathy Smith; his brother-in-law Timothy Murphy; and his in-laws, Ray and Thelma Hauger.
He is survived by: his father Ralph Leister; his wife Brenda Leister (Hauger); his daughter Tara Miller (Michael); his grandchildren, Layken and Owen Miller; his sisters, Diana Murphy and Brenda Hillegass; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Smith, Jeff Hillegass, Lynn Hauger (Wanita), Susan Landis (Kim) and Lowell Hauger (Barb); and his close friends, Danny Cessna, Richard Witt, Corinne Johnston and Colton Bollman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
