He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Shaulis and Mae Shaulis (Baker); his former wives, Elsie Jane Dwire and Sara "Sally" Louise Yaple; and his siblings, Lois Saylor, Audrey Thomas, Kenneth Shaulis and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Rita L. Long; his daughters, Angela Otto (Michael) and Jennifer Shaulis; his grandchildren, Ella and Evan Otto; his siblings, Elwood "Woody" Shaulis (Jan), Mary Jane McGregor and Donald Shaulis (Lori); his half-siblings, Gail Clark (Stanley) and Timothy; and his stepsister Esther Kendig. He is also survived by foster parent for many children.
