He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Burcaw and Alleene Burcaw (Brown); his former wife Christine Burcaw; and his brothers, Stewart and Lowell.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Dickey (Platt); his stepchildren, Tracy Dickey of Berlin and Lori Hoppert (Lynn) of Berlin; and his stepgrandsons, Landon Hoppert (Sarah Walker) and Lance.
