He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Mabel Smith (Dively); his wife Mildred Bittner; and his siblings, Harry Jr., Carl, Robert, John, James, William Smith, Ethel Donges and Ruth Hutzell.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Smith (Linda), Jerry Smith and Marjorie Sines (Chris); his grandchildren, Daryl Smith (Tracy), Glenda Croner (T.), Brenda Swank (Chris), Chris Sines (Lindsey) and Jennifer Lapp (Kedrick); his great grandchildren, Zach Parry, Shaina Sines, Tucker, Ava Lapp, Brittany Wicks, April Shaulis, Noah, Levi Croner, Cody, Cyle and Cole Smith; and his siblings, Arlene Gallagher, Hazel "Kate" Tomlinson, Dorothy Leister, Nancy Miller, Kenneth (Marian) and Thomas Smith (Sharon). He is also survived by 7 great great grandchildren.
