Helen M. Diest Obituary
In loving memory of Helen M. Diest of Berlin, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 97. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Engle and Bertha Engle (Handwerk); her husband Harry "Pepper"; her sons, Craig and Jody; and her siblings, Nada Schrock, Marian Gindlesperger, Robert and Ray Engle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Deaner Funeral Home (705 Main St, Berlin, PA 15530). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Somerset County, P.O. Box 182, Somerset, PA 15501 or to Trinity UCC, P.O. Box 86, Berlin, PA 15530.
