He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Bill" Shoemaker and Ethel Vista Shoemaker (Ritchie); his son Bradley; and his siblings, Hazel, Kathleen "Kay", Owen, Floyd Jr., Dale Sr., Shirley, Wayne, Connie and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shoemaker (Hinkle); his granddaughters, JoDi (Colton Reed) and Jena Shoemaker (Preston); his daughter-in-law Mary Shoemaker; his great grandchild Bradley Reed; and his siblings-in-law, Doris, JaneyShoemaker, Donna Hinkle and Larry. He is also survived by nine siblings.
