She was predeceased by: her parents, Jochum DeVries and Johanna DeVries (Spandaw); her husband Owen; and her siblings, Riek DeVries and Sikko DeVries.

She is survived by: her children, Joanne (Chad Martin) and Rommert; her granddaughter Jessica Kurtz (Clayton); and her brother Jaap DeVries. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to In Touch Hospice, P.O. Box 1173, Somerset, PA 15501.
