He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Bittner and Mary Edna Bittner (Weimer); and his brothers, Henry and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his children, Laurissa Bittner (Mel Ortiz) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Bradley Bittner (Susan) of Westminister, MD; his grandchildren, Abigail and Charles Bittner; his brothers, James Bittner of Barberton, OH and Larry Bittner (Nola); and his brothers-in-law, William Smith (Linda) and Thomas Smith (Eileen Siwicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
