With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benedict Straka Sr. of Berlin, Pennsylvania, born in Jenners, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 21, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Straka and Anna Straka (Mriglud); his wife Mary Miller; his daughters, Beverley and Brenda Straka; and his brother Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Benedict Straka Jr. (Wendy) and Barbara Gardner (Paul Stump); his grandchildren, Beth Anne Herman (Brandon), Jacob Harrison Gardner and Bradley James Straka; his siblings, John Straka (Shirley), David Straka (Stella), Anna Carosi and Louise Lintz; and his former wife Ella Jean Straka.
