It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Karns of Benton, Pennsylvania, born in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Karns and Geraldine Karns (Everett); his wife Hazel S. Karns (Miller); and his siblings, Ione Remsnyder, Janet Fisher, Charles Karns, Sarah "Sally" Fallon and James Karns.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie McHenry (Michael) of Bowmansville and William "Bill" Karns (Linda) of Manheim; his grandsons, Jarod and Jonathan Karns; and his pet Golden Retriever. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a private graveside Service with Military Honors will be conducted Friday, March 5th, 2021 at the Waller Cemetery, Jackson Township, with the Rev. Howard W. Leh officiating.
