He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Scott Sweeney and Sarah Sweeney (Bardo); and his siblings, Arthur Sweeney and Marcia Buck. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jane Sweeney (Young); his children, Holly Evans (Bob) of Berwick, Daniel Sweeney (Bonnie) of Bloomsburg, Jennie Barnhill (Brent) of Bloomsburg and Robert Sweeney (Susan) of Nescopeck; his grandchildren, Corey Evans and Megan Sweeney; his great grandchild Isaiah Evans; and his sister Ruth Elaine Harvey of Millville.
