He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Kindig and Mildred Kindig (Hayman); his wife Stella L. Kindig (Maziarczyk); his children, Robin John Kindig and Monica S. Mathews; and his siblings, Kenneth H. Kindig, Roy C. Kindig, Richard D. Kindig, Vivian Karns, Gerald Kindig and Dorothy Kindig.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan Kindig-Bennett (John) of Quakertown, PA; and his sister Shirley McHenry (Teddy) of Benton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
