He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. "Tuddy" Kocher and Mary K. Kocher (Thomas). He is survived by: his daughter Miranda L. Kocher of North Andover, Massachusetts; his granddaughter Marie L. Kocher of Dorchester, Massachusetts; and his son Matthew Sanders of Gretna, Louisiana.. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to a Veterans organization of the donor's choice.
