It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth G. Schlegel of Benton, Pennsylvania, born in Oley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley F. Schlegel and Elsa "Elsie" Schlegel Musser (Barlet); his granddaughter Meghan Schlegel; and his siblings, Stanley Patterson and Alice Hurst.
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Schlegel (McGlade); his children, Denise Conte of Bayville, NJ, Kenneth G. Schlegel, Jr. of Bloomsburg, Michael T. Schlegel of Breinigsville and Renee A. Simpson (Harvey Simpson, Jr.) of Berwick; and his siblings, Sheila Drey, George Musser (Mary), Terry Musser and Marilyn Herr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
