With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irma Jeanne Vansock (Benton, Pennsylvania), born in Huntington Mills, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. Richard Wood and Helen Marie Wood (Fritz); her husband Andrew G. Vansock; her daughter Constance J. Vansock; her grandson Jesse D. Vansock; her brothers, Albert F. Wood, James E. Wood and Raymond E. Wood; and her great grandchild Elise Faith English.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew R. "Pean" Vansock (Donna James) of Benton, Candace M. Hess (Randy Eyer) of Orangeville, Helen A. Iddings (Rick) of Benton, Jill E. Lockard (Barry) of Benton and Stephen G. Vansock (Debra) of Benton; her siblings, R. Elaine Honse of Bloomsburg, Mary Gay Kline (Robert Marino), Richard D. "Dick" Wood (Tina) of Benton, Helen Ruth Rupert (Ray) of Bloomsburg and Charles "Chuck" Wood (Dolly) of Benton; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wood and Sandy Wood. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
