It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Iris E. Hontz (Benton, Pennsylvania), born in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior E. Miller and Inez Miller (Stout); her husband George B. Hontz; and her sisters, Lorraine Rorick and Lillian Woodworth.
She is survived by: her children, Gary M. Hontz of Shickshinny and Kathleen "Kathy" Hazlak (Dennis) of Picture Rocks; and her siblings, Carol Ann Shaw of Shickshinny and Robert Miller (Alice) of Shickshinny. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
