It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Roland Fritz (Benton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Raymond Fritz and Fanny Crosby Fritz (Dennis); and his siblings, Carol Betty Tyree, Raymond John Fritz and Carlton Lee Fritz.
He is survived by: his wife Della Jane Fritz (Turner); his daughters, Barbara Lynn Fritz, Linda Jane Romanak (Joseph) of Harrisburg, Marla Ann Harris (Alan) of Bloomsburg and Holly Ruth Fry of Orangeville; his grandson Mark Christopher Romanak of Lone Tree, Colorado; and his stepgrandchildren, Linda Jane Harris and Edward Alan Harris.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 North Market Street, Bloomsburg, PA 17815, or the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard, 342 Iron St., Bloomsburg, PA, where Herbert donated many fresh vegetables over the years.
