He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick T. Newhart and Catherine A. Newhart (Kivler); his siblings, Llewellyn W. "Lou" Newhart, Raymond L. Newhart, Frederick J. Newhart and Catherine A. Kline; his daughter Sarah Jane Newhart; his grandson Kristopher Newhart; and his adoptive father Hervey Long.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah M. Newhart (Foust); his children, Frank Newhart (Patty) of Benton, Timothy Newhart of Benton, Dean Newhart (Kelly) of Benton and Nancy Hess (Bruce) of Benton; and his grandchildren, Joe, Kayla, Erin, Bradley, Kevin, Kristian and Kaitlyn.
