It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lewis of Benton, Pennsylvania, born in Ross Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Benscoter and Helen G. Benscoter (Quick); her husband A. Clair Lewis; her daughter Carol L. Mas; her granddaughter Jill Elaine Webster; her son-in-law Larry L. Hess; and her sister Marjorie Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra K. Hess of Wernersville and Cheryl A. Lewis; and her half-siblings, Otis Farver, Jr. (Glovene) and Nancy Minier. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren.
