He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest S. Barney and Peggy Jefferys Barney. He is survived by: his children, Tiffeny Jones (Brian) of Eighty Four, Trish Dessify (Paul) of Bentleyville and Neil Barney of Eighty Four; his siblings, Melanie Slogick (Christy Barney) of Bentleyville, Shawn Barney and Vickie Mongell; and his stepbrother Scott Vankirk. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
