She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Matay, Jr. and Theresa Angelina Capozza Matay. She is survived by: her husband James Fowkes; her daughter Michelle Rodriguez (Tim); her grandsons, Mikey and Joey Rodriguez; her sister Terie Swallop (late Kenneth Swallop, Jr.); and her godchild Kalynn Swallop. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
